Dental Crowns & Bridges

Fixed bridge restoration prior to placement

A dental crown is custom-made restoration that covers the entire visible portion of a tooth, everything above the gum line. It serves to fortify a weakened or damaged tooth and provide it with renewed structure, function, and aesthetics. A dental bridge is a larger type of restoration that replaces one or more missing teeth. It consists of crowns on each end that support pontics (artificial teeth) between them. Crowns and bridges can be constructed of various materials, including metals and porcelain.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Traditional dental fillings are made out of a material called silver amalgam, which is a mix of mercury and other metals. Amalgam is quite dark in color, and it can increase dental sensitivity to hot and cold temperatures. Tooth-colored fillings are different. They are made out of a flexible composite resin, which bonds directly with the enamel around it. It can be shade-matched to blend in seamlessly with the existing dentition, and it does not increase sensitivity.

Dentures & Partial Dentures

Dentures are one of the most affordable, reliable ways to address extensive tooth loss. A traditional full denture is a removable prosthetic that consists of a gum-colored base and a full arch of artificial teeth. A partial denture replaces multiple teeth at various places throughout a dental arch. When dentures fit well, they can enable their owner to eat most foods. We carefully design dentures to complement a patient’s unique facial structures so their restoration looks at natural as possible.

One-Visit Dental Restorations

The conventional process for creating a dental crown requires at least two dental appointments. With CEREC technology, however, we can accomplish the same thing in just one appointment. After we prepare a tooth, we scan it to take a digital impression. Then, we use advanced software to design the crown. Finally, our in-house milling unit carves the crown out of a single block of dental porcelain before we permanently attach it to its intended tooth.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

Full-mouth reconstruction refers to the process of helping a patient overcome extensive and/or complex dental problems. If you require this service, we will first examine your mouth and evaluate your needs. Then, we will talk to you about your treatment options and our estimated timeline for helping you achieve your goals. After a number of procedures, which might include crowns, dental implants, and cosmetic services, you can expect to have a fully functional, beautiful set of teeth.
