Dr. Philip Howells feels truly blessed to work with the wonderful team at Northborough Dental Associates, where we endeavor to provide the best dentistry has to offer to our precious patients. He greatly enjoys learning about new advances in his field and keeping our dental office up to date.
Dr. Howells received his dental education at the University of Michigan School Of Dentistry, and afterward, he moved to Massachusetts in 1984. He was originally part of a group, and he began practicing in Northborough in 1989. In 2001, he decided to venture out on his own. Not long thereafter, he was fortunate to have Dr. Sandra Crowley join him, and they continue to enjoy a wonderful partnership today. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and Worcester District Dental Society, where he has had the privilege of serving as President and on the Executive Board. In 2010, he was honored by the Journal of the Massachusetts Dental Society as a Volunteer Hero. This award recognized the time he spent providing dental treatment to underserved children in the Worcester area.
Dr. Howells was born and raised in the Detroit area; he has many fond memories of his years in Michigan. New England has been his home for over 30 years now, and he has grown to love the White Mountains, the coast of Maine, and the Boston sports scene. He likes to stay active in our community and has spent many seasons coaching basketball, baseball, and softball for his children. He and his wife Karen live in Northborough with their boys, Ben and Mark. Their daughter Samantha is studying at Penn State University. Their family loves to travel and engage in outdoor activities. Dr. Howells especially enjoys spending time on golf courses and ski slopes with his loved ones.
